Emotional Intelligence 101
Emotional Intelligence is the ability to identify and manage your own emotions; and to understand and skillfully interact with others in a way that respects their emotions. It includes mindfulness, self awareness, self mastery, social awareness and social skills. But what does all this actually mean in practice?
In this workshop, our focus is not on abstract concepts. It’s about trying out these basic tools in a way that feels true to who you really are. We give the group an experience of each of the tenets of EI so that you can feel how they work yourself, in the moment and in your body. Then we point the way for continuing to grow your EQ. We can do a broad overview, or we can zero in on one skill in particular, as suits your needs.
